The Gyu Bar testt
The first extension of the menu draws inspiration from the culinary landscapes of countries across Asia, each dish a unique new presentation of quality beef and other choice delicacies. Highlights include:
- Deep-fried Wagyu Cha Gio ($18++) - Inspired by the traditional Vietnamese spring roll, this starter is one to savour. A layer of crisp golden spring roll skin gives way to a flavoursome filling of fresh Kumamoto seaweed, minced Kagoshima Wagyu, and juicy chopped prawns.
- Spicy Pumpkin Wagyu Nabe ($48++) - A returning favourite from The Gyu Bar’s Valentine’s Day special menu, this dish is based on the classic Chinese suan cai yu. A broth steeped till sapid with fish, chicken, Wagyu, and local green chillies teems with an assemblage of ingredients such as mashed Japanese pumpkin, enoki mushrooms, and tender Wagyu slices.
